PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a charging valve to be used for charging both a bottle type first class container B and a second class container C such as a top open type can or the like without replacing any component elements. SOLUTION: Both a large diameter segment 2a and a small diameter segment 2b are formed at a valve body 2. There is provided a container port packing unit 32 having a large diameter segment 32a and a small diameter segment 32b each of which is fitted to the valve body 2. There are provided a first seal member 34 for sealing between both large diameter segments 2a, 32a, and a second seal member 36 for sealing between the small diameter segments 2b, 32b. A lower surface of the container port packing unit 32 is provided with a first packing 38 substantially coinciding with a port diameter of the bottle type first class container B, and a second packing 40 substantially coinciding with a port diameter of the second class container C such as a can or the like. In the case of the first class container B, the charging is carried out under a state in which the small diameter segments 2b, 32b are fitted and in turn in the case of the second class container C, the charging is carried out under a state in which the small diameter segments 2b, 32b are not fitted.
