PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic plate holder having a compact structure capable of stably and surely fixing and safely suspending and moving a metallic plate, and capable of extremely reducing a cost including a manufacturing cost and a control-maintenance cost when suspending and moving the large heavy metallic plate such as a steel plate by a crane. SOLUTION: This suspending and moving metallic plate holder is composed of a pair of suspending frame bodies A for arranging a through port 3 for hooking a hoisting accessory B in an end part of the thick metallic plate 1 forming a slender hole 2 capable of inserting and registering a rectangular metallic plate K of a moving object, and is characterized by hooking, suspending, and moving the hoisting accessory B in the through port 3 by inserting both end parts of the metallic plate K into the slender hole 2 of both suspending frame bodies A.
