<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag with a high unfolding pressure resistance which is light weight and can be accommodated at compact and in which a stress concentration is dispersed at a sewing part of a hanging string to occupant side foundation cloth. SOLUTION: In the air bag formed to a bag-like shape, an air bag body is constituted by a woven fabric of which METSUKE (weight/unit area) is 180 g/m<2> and the hanging string for restricting unfolding popping out length of a bag body by fastening the occupant side and the opposite side thereto is provided on the inside of the air bag body. The hanging string is sewed to the occupant side of the air bag body by a stitch line of curved line comprising a long circle. A major diameter of an ellipse is positioned at a right angle to the longitudinal direction of the hanging string and has length equal to or longer than a width of the hanging string.</p> |
