The print head structure in a liquid jet printer involves picture information converted to a picture pattern on an information carrier, the picture pattern being formed by selectively applied printing liquid through the outlet of a liquid depositing part (107) of the print head structure with coordinated movement of the print head structure in a first direction across the information carrier, thereby creating a sweep line from each outlet. The print head structure has at least two valve units (110), in connection with which the liquid depositing unit is arranged. Each valve unit has a movable valve body which regulates the print liquid through a liquid flow aperture (118) in each valve unit. Each flow aperture is associated with a corresponding liquid jet aperture (109). The fluid jet apertures are displaced relatively to one another in a direction which is parallel with the first direction to predetermined positions. |
