Each tubular lighting section (2) has a connector (21) at one end. Around the open end of the connector, there is an external thread (24). A ring (22) fastened to the connector includes a number of ratchet claws (23) spaced around it. A second connector (25) fastened to the other end, includes a ring stop (26). Its internally-threaded tube nut (27) has a tab (29) projecting at the front to work with the claws, and a reduced internal collar at the rear, acting against the ring stop. The tube nut (27) is free to move on the second connector (25) when the connector is uncoupled.
