<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device which enables a user to intuitively and easily input three-dimensional information, hierarchical information, and 'go', 'return', etc., of browsing by combinational use with a two-dimensional input device represented by a mouse or the like without replacing a device which the user has neither damaging its input function. SOLUTION: The input device is provided with a vertically movable mouse table on which a mouse, a tablet, etc., are placed. The mouse table is prepared to always rise by using a spring, rubber, a pneumatic pressure, or the like (it is referable that the spring or the like has such strength that it can endure the weight of the mouse and the weight of an arm but may sink due to application of heavier weight). Sensors are provided which read the vertical speed, the acceleration, and the position of the mouse table, and sensors are provided which detect arrival at the top and that at the bottom. A clutch system is provided which invalidates input to a computer for movement of the mouse table.</p> |
