PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the access performance of a cluster constitution storage system which can operate a plurality of storage systems as one storage system. SOLUTION: The cluster constitution storage system which can operate a plurality of storage system nodes as one storage system collects access information to the system by a maintenance terminal. Access information is collected in the unit of pairs of logical ports, which have received an access instruction from a host computer, and logical volumes as management units of data. Collected access information is presented to a maintenance man through the maintenance terminal. The maintenance man refers to access information to find a pair of a logical port of a high frequency in data transfer between storage system nodes and a logical volume and examines the change of setting of this port and rearrangement of the logical volume between storage system nodes and instruction for rearrangement is given to the cluster constitution storage system from the maintenance terminal when necessary. The cluster constitution storage system receives the rearrangement instruction and changes the setting of the port or rearranges the logical volume.
