PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generating body cooler capable of sufficiently cooling a heat generating body at approximately a uniform temperature over the body. SOLUTION: The heat generating body cooler 5 comprises a heat sink 2 having a plurality of straight fins 1 and two fans 4 disposed at lengthwise first ends of the fins 1. A heat generating body 3 is set on the heat sink 2. The fins 1 are located more away from each fan 4 as their ends located more away from the widthwise center end 1a of the fin facing the center 4a of the fan 4 to the end 1b of the fin facing the fan blade end 4b. Thus, the revolving velocity component of the flow attenuates with increase of the distance from the fan 4 to result to that air being hardly flowing into end fins 1b in the prior art is easy to flow therein, thereby approximately uniformizing the heat transfer rate over the fins.
