Exendin 3 and 4 agonist compounds for the treatment of diabetes

Described are compounds which have activity as exendin agonists. These compounds are useful in the preparation of medicaments for treatment of Type I and II diabetes, in treatment of disorders which would be benefited by agents which lower plasma glucose levels and in treatment of disorders which would be benefited with agents useful in delaying and/or slowing gastric emptying.
