FIELD: forging press equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for changing die set includes movable beams 3 that may by joined with die bed for mounting die set. Die bed is joined with press table 2 and it has units for lifting and moving in the form of stepped sleeves 4. At least two stepped sleeves 4 are arranged at each side of press table; each sleeve has bearing assembly 5 placed on it. Movable beams are mounted on bearing assemblies. Said beams have guiding grooves for placing bearing assemblies of stepped sleeves. Die bed and movable beams have shaped joined surfaces whose contours form mounting detachable joints and they are provided with fastening members for integrating them to single platform. Die bed and table have shaped joined surfaces whose contours 7,8 form mounted relative to press slide detachable joints. Step of each sleeve carrying bearing assembly has eccentricity relative to sleeve axis. Eccentricity value is selected according to condition for creating loading effort of die bed for joining it with press table to united block.
