TERMINAL BLOCK AND CABLE CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal block equipped with a shielding contact blade having a contact piece whose ground contact is connected to a ground layer of a circuit board and one or more contact pieces protruding outward so as to get in touch with a ground layer of a corresponding terminal block. SOLUTION: The connector is provided with a housing made of an insulating material and a plurality of rectangular contacts arrayed in matrix. A rectangular shielding plate is set between each contacts in adjacent rows. Further, a vertical shielding plate each separates between the contacts of the adjacent columns or groups of adjacent columns. The rectangular shielding plate and the vertical shielding plate have a slot respectively to receive each other. A contact part is set for mutually connecting the rectangular shielding plate and the vertical shielding plate.
