<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-terminal communication system capable of improving service performance to each terminal equipment by accepting an emergency request from each terminal equipment. SOLUTION: A CPU 21 sets a polling interval for respective terminal equipment 14a, 14b,..., 14n so that the interval can be not less than several times the polling processing time, and uses a spare time after the polling processing as accepting time of a request from the terminal equipment. The CPU 21 executes polling to the terminal equipment 14a at first, and when any request from each terminal equipment is not issued in the following spare time, the CPU 21 executes the polling to the next terminal equipment 14b. Also, when the request is generated in the terminal equipment 14n in the spare time after the polling processing, the CPU 21 accepts the request, and immediately replies to this. Also, when the terminal equipment fails in the reception of the polling, the CPU 21 re-transmits the polling by the preliminarily set number of times. Thus, it is possible to prevent a line from being put in a saturated state due to the retry.</p> |
