PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique capable of simplifying procedures for asking a company for merchandise sales or providing of a service requiring personal information. SOLUTION: The personal information management method for unitarily managing personal information of customers for providing it to the company has a step for asking the company for merchandise sales or providing of the service requiring personal information, a step for requesting a personal information providing device for obtaining personal information corresponding to member identification information and authentication information for disclosing the personal information on the customer, a step for reading personal information corresponding to the member identification information and authentication information from a personal information management database to the company side, and a step for receiving the provided personal information to store it in a customer management database on the company side and performing merchandise sales or providing of services to the customer by using the personal information.
