PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieving device capable of contributing to enhancement of reusability of retrieval results of contents including a keyword. SOLUTION: The number of times of selection of summary information in relation to the contents in the past, the contents and the keyword are stored in a hard disk HD35 as selection history information, when one piece of the summary information is selected in response to a mouse operation, the stored selection history information is updated, whether or not display of the selection history information when it is previously retrieved is required is determined according to operation information, the stored selection history information is read and displayed on a display 38 according to this decision result and when one of the pieces of displayed selection history information is selected, the contents stored in the hard disk HD35 corresponding to the selected history information are read and displayed on the display 38.
