PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical packaging structure for packaging a piezoelectric transformer, having power, generating section, a drive section, and a rigid body section in the longitudinal direction and using 1/2 wavelength mode on a packaging board. SOLUTION: In a node section 42 positioned at approximately the center of the longitudinal direction of a piezoelectric transformer 2c having a power- generating section 20, a drive section 22, and a rigid body section 24 in a longitudinal direction and using 1/2 wavelength mode, metal strip-shape lead terminals 30 and 32 extending in the width direction of the piezoelectric transformer 2c (in a direction from the surface of back side, as shown in Figure) are respectively joined in conductive manner to each input electrode 6 and 8 on its both sides. The lead terminals 30 and 32 fix and electrically connect the piezoelectric transformer 2c to the packaging board 34.
