PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater unit which can stop electricity to a heater when the heater gets involved in some kind of abnormalities (when temperature rises beyond a given limit), without the need of an element using many parts for temperature detection like a thermistor. SOLUTION: A safe heater unit can be realized which can suppress heating below a certain temperature by providing a heater and another irreversible resistive element having PTC characteristics in the way of an electrode 2 constituting a heater on the same base material which acts so as to restrain current flowing through the heater when the temperature rises above a certain limit to shun the current to the heater, though not affecting passage of electricity to the heater, and can suppress generation of heat below a certain temperature.
