PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code generator with which a plurality of partial sequences in a cyclic code sequence can be respectively generated at desired timing efficiently in a small scale. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an M sequence generating circuit 1000, a phase shift circuit 1007 and a partial sequence control circuit 1016. The partial sequence control circuit 1016 controls the phase shift circuit 1007 so that an initial value can be loaded to the M sequence generating circuit 1000 for each partial cycle for generating a partial sequence to be circulated in a partial cycle, and the partial sequence of a shift sequence shifting a reference M sequence generated by such an initial value for a desired phase quantity can be generated on a desired cyclic shift phase. Thus, the partial sequence of the desired shift sequence in the reference M sequence generated by the initial value can be generated on the desired cyclic shift phase, namely, at desired timing. |
