<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide a route easily to comprehend to a user carrying a communication terminal such as portable telephone. SOLUTION: When an image input device 1 reads the guide map of a handwriting machine, a recognizing device 2 recognizes characters concerning a departure spot. A converting device 5 converts a map from the departure spot to a destination to a computerized map. An instruction preparing device 8 detects the features of roads along with the route and prepares an instruction sentence for route guide like 'turn right', 'on three-forked road' and 'with convenience store' by using the features. A transmitting part 10 transmits the instruction sentence to a portable telephone 12 as audio data or character data.</p> |
