PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle the front face glass substrate and back face glass substrate of any plasma display panel as judged defective in the manufacturing process or after the use as products, to be reused in a plasma display panel or a glass material for any other item, whereby disposal of the plasma display panels rejected or after being used is avoided. SOLUTION: By a supporting member 5 an electrode connection part 4 is supported from the side with the afixing surfaces of the front face glass substrate 2 and back face glass substrate 1, and an adhesive 3 is softened by heating, and that the substrate which is not supported is dropped by its own weight or any external force acting downward so that the front face glass substrate and back face glass substrate are separated from each other.
