MOVING IMAGE COMPRESSING, ENCODING AND TRANSMITTING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide moving image compressing, encoding and transmitting equipment wherein only a part of an inputted image is encoded or encoding is performed after the resolution is converted if necessary, so that a transmission line is used effectively, and encoding transmission of high quality of required image information is enabled. SOLUTION: An inputted image 1a is stored in a frame storage device of an image input part. An image cut-out part 3 cuts out image data on the basis of a remote control signal 6a sent from a receiving side. A resolution converting part 4 converts the resolution of the image data by using the encoding size from an image encoding part 5. The image encoding part 5 encodes the image data whose resolution is converted. The encoded image data are transmitted to the receiving side via a transmission part 6.
