<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical coupler in which the number of components is decreased, the manufacturing process can be simplified and the cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: The photocoupler comprises a light emitting element 24 and a light-receiving element 25, disposed opposite at a specified interval with each electrode terminal 26 being secured to a corresponding connection part 23 provided on a lead frame 22. A body 31 for sealing the frame 22 and a case body 32, surrounding the light-emitting element 24 and the light-receiving element 25 to have an element insertion opening 33 at the upper end and provided, in the opposite sidewall parts, with a light-emitting slit 345 and a light-receiving slit 35 in parallel with the inserting direction of element, are molded integrally of a synthetic resin material.</p> |
