PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a sub-display unit to be exposed, irrespective of opening/ closing of the cover at two-folding type portable telephone terminal equipment and to substantially enlarge a display area of a main display unit by utilizing the sub-display unit at opening of the cover. SOLUTION: A folding-type housing has a body 25, with the cover 14 openably and closably connected to one end of the body 25 via a pair of hinges 18 provided in space. A main display unit 16 is disposed on the inside surface of the cover 14. The sub-display unit 19 is disposed between the pair of the hinges 18 on the body 25. A screen of the unit 19 can be observed at a glance together with the screen of the unit 16, at the opening of the cover 14, and a cover closed state can be visually recognized. The unit 19 displays first information at the time of closing the cover, and second information different from the first information is displayed at the opening of the cover.
