PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal whose storage capacity is constrained capable of exchanging a message by sharing picture information without compressing any memory. SOLUTION: This portable communication terminal is provided with a means (2a, 2b) for acquiring and displaying a reference picture from a site on the Internet, and for transmitting a synchronization start message including information for instructing the destination of reference to the other terminal, a means (2c) for acquiring and displaying the reference picture based on the received synchronization start message, and for returning a synchronizing response, a means (2d) for receiving the synchronizing response from the other terminal, a means (2e) for receiving the input of additional information associated with the reference picture in the synchronizing state, and for transmitting the information based on this to the other terminal in the synchronizing state, and a means (2f) for receiving the information based on the additional information associated with the reference picture from the other terminal, and for adding and displaying the information to the reference picture.
