PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary head drum device capable of reducing noise by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A rotary drum 16 is provided with an outer peripheral wall 16A having a recording/reproducing head 18 and an inner peripheral wall 16B positioned inside, and the upper surface of the rotary drum 16 is covered with a drum cover 20. A rotary shaft 1612 is inserted into the center hole 2002 of the drum cover 20, the drum cover 20 part around the center hole 2002 is placed on the upper end surface of a boss part 1624, and a pressing plate 2004 placed thereon is fastened by a screw 2006 to fix the drum cover 20. The upper end surface of the boss part 1624 is positioned in a place slightly lower than the upper end of the outer peripheral wall 16A, and the outer peripheral part of the drum cover 20 is deflected so as to be positioned gradually upward toward the tip. The drum cover 20 is formed so as to be elastically deformed in the direction of a centrifugal force by the centrifugal force generated when it is rotated integrally with the rotary drum 16.
