Described is a solid medicinal form of a multiphase structure for oral administration, comprising an inner phase including the active ingredient gatifloxacin or one or more pharmaceutically acceptable salts or hydrates thereof, and one of more auxiliary substances selected from the group comprising binders, fillers and disintegration aids, and at least one outer phase comprising at least one disintegration aid and optionally one or more lubricants, fillers and/or binders. Also described is a process for the preparation of the above solid medicinal form.
