DEVICE CHECKING PARAMETERS OF TREAD CLOTH

FIELD: test of mass and geometrical parameters of bands of polymer material, specifically, of tread cloth for manufacture of tires. SUBSTANCE: device has bearing platform 1 in the form of box with perforated upper wall, feeding chamber 9 positioned under it which lower part communicates with source of compressed air and which upper part is connected to cylindrical pocket 6 with hemispherical bottom 7. Pocket 6 houses freely ball 12 which surface is fitted with discrete light-reflecting and light-absorbing coats in the form of interjoined equilateral hexagons. Device incorporates two photoelectric sensors connected to recorder. Each sensor comes in the form of two interconnected detectors spaced by 2/3 width of hexagon. Pocket 6 is embraced by toroidal inductance coil which functions as pickup checking mass and electromagnet preventing entrainment of ball 12 at moment of absence of tread cloth. Coil is connected to second recorder. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of check. 3 dwg
