FIELD: fire extinguishing. SUBSTANCE: composition for extinguishing A, B, and C-class fires and burning electrical installations under voltage up to 1000 v contains, 2-4 % of carbon white waterproofed by organosilicon fluid polymerized on the surface of particles, 3-11% of corundum powder or aluminosilicate, and ammonium phosphate and sulfate. White black and organosilicon fluid are taken in weight proportion (95-97)/(5-3) and ammonium phosphate and sulfate in weight proportion (55-100)/(45-0). Preparation of composition involves separate drying and grinding of components. White black, prior to be waterproofed, is dried to moisture content no higher than 0.25%, ground, mixed with organosilicon fluid, and held at 150-200 C until organosilicon fluid on the surface of white black particles is polymerized. All components are then stirred. Composition is characterized by degree of hydrophobicity 75-99%, fluidity 0.35-0.38 kg/s, moisture absorbance tendency 0.9-2.1, and blocking property close to zero.
