PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to use electronic equipment (for example, a portable telephone 20) by performing authentication between a radio card 10 which a user owns and the electronic equipment by using the radio card 10 when the electronic equipment is used. SOLUTION: In this equipment authentication system to perform the authentication to control operation of the electronic equipment (for example, the cellular telephone 20), it is provided with a first authentication part to generate authentication information to control the operation of the electronic equipment and the radio card 10 having a transmitting means to transmit the authentication information generated by the first authentication part to the electronic equipment and the electronic equipment is roughly constituted of a receiving means to receive the authentication information from the radio card 10, a second authentication part to authenticate the radio card 10 based on the authentication information received by the receiving means and an operation control part to operate the electronic equipment based on authentication by the second authentication part. |
