PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblability of an armature core and a core cover. SOLUTION: A core cover 15a, fixed to an end surface 10a of an armature core 10, is formed out of an end wall 16 positioned at the end surface 10a of the armature core 10, and twelve fitting sections 17a to 17l which protrude in the axial direction. Positioning fitting sections B1 and B2 are formed by extending the fitting sections 17a and 17g fitted into slots S1 and S7, with the largest width in circumferential direction among the fitting sections 17a to 17l, in the axial direction being larger than those in the other fitting sections.
