PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PAL and SECAM-L system countermeasure type television receiver capable of hardly generating any buzz sound even in an on- vehicle television receiver whose reception condition is largely changed. SOLUTION: In a PAL and SECAM-L system countermeasure type television receiver, an SIF tuning amplifier 6 is arranged between a tuner 2 and an SAW filter 3 for an SIF, and a signal obtained by amplifying only an SIF signal by the SIF tuning circuit 6 is inputted to the SAW filter 3 for the SIF so that the signal can be amplified/detected in a state that videos signal components irremovable only by the SAW filter 3 for the SIF are sufficiently reduced. Thus, it is possible to prevent the generation of any buzz sound due to a video signal.
