PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material by which, a lithium secondary cell with high electrode density and high energy density can be manufactured. SOLUTION: Graphite grains with average grain diameter of not more than 100 μm, having folded lamination structure formed by crushing and folding the graphite with average grain diameter of not more than 5 mm using an impact crusher, are manufactured. The negative electrode material for the lithium secondary cell, having the graphite grains with average grain diameter of not more than 100 μm, having folded lamination structure, on the surface of which, a covering layer of crystalline carbon is formed by applying a chemical evaporation treatment to the graphite grains using a fluidized bed type reaction furnace, is formed. |
