PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion battery surely preventing the contact of a negative terminal or a positive terminal with a negative electrode and a positive electrode. SOLUTION: This lithium ion battery 10 is equipped with a power generating element 14 conducting ions exchange between the negative electrode 11 and the positive electrode 12; a pair of terminals 15, 16 connected to the negative electrode 11 and the positive electrode 12, a package 20 housing and sealing the power generation element 14 so as to expose opened end parts 15A, 16A of the terminals 15, 16 to the outside; fusion bonding margins 21A, 21B, 21C having specified width dimensions installed in the periphery of the package 20 so as to envelope the power generating element 14, and insulating films 25, 26 covering the specified positions 15B, 16B of the terminals 15, 16 and interposed between fusion bonding margin 21C. Edge parts 25A, 26A of the insulating films 25, 26 are arranged in the position reaching one of the negative electrode 11 and the positive electrode 12. |
