PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a rotor part whose yoke and boss are formed integrally by cold forging. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a magnet generator forms a rotor part 22, whose yoke 23 having a sidewall 24 and a bottom wall 25 and boss 26 are integrally formed, from a plate material 31 by cold forging. In the initial stage of the cold forging applied to the plate material 31, a flow control part 37, whose thickness t is equal to a final thickness t0 of the bottom wall 25, is formed in the boundary part between a part 35, corresponding to the bottom wall and a part 34 corresponding to the sidewall to separate a plate material flow A to the part corresponding to the sidewall and a plate material flow B to the part corresponding to the bottom wall from each other clearly in the cold forging process afterwards.
