PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone reception system that can select reception of telephone calls according to the intention of a person in charge of a call transfer destination. SOLUTION: The telephone reception system has a means that acquires a schedule of a person in charge registered in a schedule database 525 and transmits the schedule to a telephone reception controller 4 when a seat leave button 522 of a call transfer destination receiver 52 is depressed at the arrival of an incoming call from a customer telephone set 1, a means that transmits a voice converted from the schedule by the phone reception controller 4 to the customer telephone set 1, a means that retrieves whether or not a customer name recognized in voice by the telephone reception controller 4 is registered as a membership from a storage device 44 when no seat leave button 522 is depressed at the arrival of the incoming call and transmits the result to the receiver 52, a display means of the receiver 52 that displays the customer name and whether or not the customer is the membership, a means that transmits reception request information from the receiver 52 to the phone reception controller 4 when the person in charge depresses a reception button 521, and a means by which the phone reception controller 4 requests a private branch of exchange 3 to connect the customer phone 1 and a telephone set 51 of the person in charge.
