PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give time to spare to a driver corresponding to a traveling situation in the case of making the driver perform a driving operation. SOLUTION: A camera controller 17 for detecting a traffic lane and a traffic lane situation ahead of a self-vehicle on the basis of image data imaged with a monocular camera 16, a control unit 12 for performing steering control so as to make the self-vehicle follow the detected traffic lane and various sensors such as an inattentive driving detection sensor 15 for detecting an inattentive driving operation of the driver and a steering angle sensor 11 for detecting the traveling situation of the self-vehicle are provided, and the control unit 12 changes a period of time between when the inattentive driving detection sensor 15 detects inattentive driving and when steering control is stopped in accordance with detection results of the various sensors.
