PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape measuring instrument and its method capable of performing non-contact three-dimensional shape measurement about the entire head of a person to be measured with high accuracy. SOLUTION: Phase shifting is performed while a plurality of emitting parts emit a pattern having sine wave-shaped contrast distribution by using a sine wave grid phase shift method, and a phase value of emitted light is calculated on the basis of a pattern image photographed by a plurality of photographing parts while synchronizing with the phase shifting. Picked-up images are integrated with one unified coordinates system from a relative positional relation of the photographing parts to obtain an accurate three-dimensional shape of the entire head. |
