<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve oscillation spectrum characteristics of a Gunn diode oscillator. SOLUTION: The tip of a short stub 22B of a signal electrode 22 of a microstrip line 20 is connected to a reverse-surface electrode 26 through a via hole 27, a center bump 11 is bonded to the signal electrode 22, and bumps 12 and 13 on both the sides are bonded to surface electrodes 24 and 25 to mount the Gunn diode 10. The bump 11 of this Gunn diode 10 is made elliptic having its major axis orthogonal to the array of the bumps 12 and 13.</p> |
