PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device screen angle adjustment unit which is capable of stably stopping a display device, especially a large scale display device at an optional angle of inclination in a longitudinal direction within a certain range of angle, adjusting the rotational angle of the display device in a lateral direction in a stepless manner, and moreover preventing the display unit from rotating abruptly. SOLUTION: A display device screen angle adjustment unit is composed of a lift means which is equipped with a base plate, a lift plate, and a support plate to lift and move the lift plate slantingly towards the base plate in a longitudinal direction, taking advantage of a link mechanism and a jack that is provided between the base plate and the lift plate; a rotating means which is equipped with a friction mechanism and a worm gear mechanism to make the support plate pivot in a lateral direction to the lift plate; and a stopper means which stops the pivoting motion of the support plate within a prescribed range. At this point, a lift control means which controls the range of lift can be additionally provided.
