PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone that increases a display area of a display section depending on the purpose of use without changing the size of an entry key section and can be made compact to be carried. SOLUTION: A slide case 6 having a microphone section 15 and an entry key section 14 is slidably fitted to a device case 1 having at least a display section 9 and a speaker section 8 so as to vary the exposure area of the display section 9 depending on a slide amount of the slide case 6. Thus, the exposure area of the display section 9 is extended to increase the display area for the purpose of use without changing the size of the entry key section 14, and the exposure area of the display section 9 is made narrow at carrying to make the size compact.
