PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power reducing device for a vending machine which takes the operation specifications of the vending machine into consideration as a device which reduces the electric power of the machine. SOLUTION: An input voltage is detected to reduce the electric power above a prescribed voltage and when the voltage drops below the prescribed voltage, the electric power reduction is canceled. When the input voltage recovers up to the prescribed voltage again, electric power reduction is performed a certain delay time later.
