PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent misrecognition and to prevent cash, etc., from being stolen by making a lock mechanism for the housing door part of an automatic teller machine or cash dispenser to automatically release a door and thus allowing an operator to see the door unlocked if the door is insufficiently locked (half- locked). SOLUTION: Misoperation can be eliminated by providing the housing door lock mechanism of the automatic teller machine with a protruding mechanism which unlocks the door in an unlocked state and a protruding mechanism which protrudes the whole door.
