PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture reader which can obtain a picture with less lack of data and deterioration of resolution. SOLUTION: The reader is provided with binarization circuits 11 and 12 converting data obtained by reading the picture into binary data, a first storage means 13a storing data outputted from the binarization circuit 12, a pixel operation means 14 to which data stored in the first storage means 13a are inputted and to which data outputted from the binarization circuit 12 are inputted and which performs an operation at every pixel and second storage means 13b and 13c storing the operation result of the pixel operation means 14 and outputting it to the pixel operation means 14. The pixel operation means 14 generates an operation result L' by the logical operation of L'=Ln+1 +Ln .inv(L 'n-2 ) based on data Ln of n-th pixel, which are stored in the first storage means 13a, data Ln+1 of n+1-th pixel, which are outputted from the binarization circuit 12, and an operation result L'n-2 stored in the second storage means 13c. |
