PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head device capable of accurately positioning a supporting plate (gimbals) and an assembling fixture. SOLUTION: This magnetic head device 10 is provided with a core assembly 6, and gimbals 2 having two positioning holes 2a and 2b and a notched part 2c disposed in the vicinity of the positioning hole 2a to facilitating the elastic deformation of the positioning hole 2a, the core assembly 6 being attached to the gimbals 2.
