SUBSTANCE: proposed method may be implemented by circuit breakers with overcurrent releases installed, for example, in metalclad transformer substations as bushing circuit breakers. Upon occurrence of emergency overloads comprehensive use is made of overload capacity of electrical equipment under protection.
