The parasol comprises a directional deflector (8) which acts like a weather vane which allows pivoting of an eccentric mast (1). The parasol is provided with stiffeners (2) activated by a sleeve (7). A shelf (3) seated in a groove (4) constitutes part of the mast and allows it to be forced into the ground. A rod (6) stiffens the deflector in its base and the sleeve slides and abuts on the rod when it is positioned in the step (5).
