PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of easily acquiring additional information related with merchandise in received picture information without inquiring of the information distribution origin. SOLUTION: A portable terminal 2 separates merchandise information 11a from received picture information, and writes it in a memory 23. A picture decoding processing part 21b decodes merchandise picture information 11b and background picture information 11c, and a picture display part 25 displays the decoded picture. A user 20 selects and decides the picture of merchandise whose merchandise information reading is desired from merchandise pictures displayed at the picture display part 25 by a prescribed key operation. A control part 21 reads the merchandise information 11a corresponding to the selected merchandise picture from the memory 23, and displays it on the picture display part 25. |
