PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize an electronic commerce system which facilitates the maintenance of article information, etc. SOLUTION: The electronic commerce system in which articles are dealt in by using a network is provided with a replica system which copies and holds all article codes of a trunk system and a processing system which reads the highest-order code among the article codes out of the storage means with the highest-order code stored and presents it to a client through the network, obtains a low-order article code from the replica system and presents it, and performs ordering processing to the trunk system according to the selected article codes. |
