PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable wireless terminal that can support a case in a stable state and prevent a hand or a finger of a user holding the case from carelessly accessing a part of a built-in antenna of the case even when at which part of the case the built-in antenna exists is not clear. SOLUTION: A transmitter 4a and a receiver 4b are respectively placed at both ends of the case 1, the built-in antenna 9 is provided to a side close to the receiver 4b of the case 1, and a recessed part 1c acting like an index is placed toward the receiver 4b from a part of the case 1 to which the built-in antenna 9 is placed so that the finger of the user gripping the case 1 does not come on the part provided with the built-in antenna 9.
