PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method or the like easily linking the debugging function of software and the simulation function of hardware in the case of simulating the software and the hardware operated in relation to each other. SOLUTION: In a first computer the software is debugged by using a debugger 13 and a command to be used in the simulation of the hardware is generated and transmitted to a second computer. In the second computer, by receiving the command to an HDL simulator 24 and inputting the received command to a bus interface model 31 included in the simulation model 25 of the hardware prepared in HDL by using the HDL simulator, the hardware is simulated in cooperation with the debugging of the software.
