PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display in which a liquid crystal module can be surely fixed and which is suitable for recycling. SOLUTION: The display device 1 is integrated by mounting a planar display unit 2 on a back case 4 and attaching a front case 3 from the front face side of the unit. The liquid crystal display is equipped with a metallic front frame 13 which has an opening corresponding to the display part of the planar display unit 2 and is positioned in the side of the planar display unit 2, with engaging pieces 15 integrally formed with the front frame 13 and protruding to the back case 4 side, and with engaging holes 17 formed in the back case 4 into which the engaging pieces 15 can be inserted. When the planar display unit 2 is mounted on the back case 4, the engaging pieces 15 of the front frame 13 are inserted into the engaging holes 17 of the back case 4 and kept in this state, and then the top ends of the engaging pieces 15 are bent to fix the planar display unit 2 to the back case 4.
